My trip to Thessaloniki (GR), Skopje (MK), Pristina (Kos), Sofia (Bu), Nis (Srb)
So on the 9th of October it was time for me to visit a good friend of me (Bob) who lives in Skopje (Macedonia). I took a plane to Thessaloniki (Greece) from Schiphol (AMS). I hate flying, but someetimes you have to, but it went good and after 3 1/2 hours I landed safe in Thessaloniki (SKG) and I was glad. I was even more happy when I saw Christine waiting for me at the airport! She took me with her ca to the city centre where we eat something typical Greek. After lunch I went to the railway station to take the train at 18h00 to Skopje.
In Skopje I stayed a couple of days and then I went Pristina, Kosovo. That impressed me a lot and I only went therer for a couple of hours. Days later I went to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. I stayed there two days in a youth hostel. My last trip was to Serbia, Nis to be more exactly. I went by train to Nis, which was really nice. Then it was time to go home and I took the train to Thessaloniki, where I stayed a day.

I know that politics on the Balkan is very difficault and that there are a lot of sensibilities. I don't want to make any political statement on this site, I want to be neutral and stay like that. Altough I make choices to use names and flags for countries, but that is only to make it easy for me and most of the people who visit this site. So I do not accept ANY discussions about names or flags. I will regret it when somebody starts to argue about that and I think then this site is not a site for you!!!
