Скопје (Skopje)-Кицево (Kicevo)-Охрид (Ohrid):3th-10th September 2008

The 3th September 2008 I entered the fourth time in my life the Republic of Macedonia and it felt like always good. I arrived in the early evening in Skopje,
were I went straight to the hotel. By coinsidence I met Bob, a Dutch friend of me, after a nice chat and my first Skopsko's (local beer) I slept in the hotel.
The next day I went in the early morning to the office of the Macedonian Railways. I could join a photo tour from Zelenikovo to Veles, by special train,

After a wonderfull day I went to my friends Brane &Marija in Kicevo by bus. I stayed in Kicevo a couple of days, and on the 7th September I did climbed the highest
mountain of Macedonia and Albanian, the mount Korab which is 2754 metres high. For pictures click here. The 9th September I went to Ohrid and did swim in the lake ,
which was wonderfull. The 10th September I had to fly back unfortunately, via Ljubljana (Slovenia). As always I had a great time in Macedonia and want to thank the
Macedonian railways, the mountain clubs Bistra and Korab and of course Marija and Brane for their hospitality.
