The first sunset of the year 2023 I witnessed in Belgrade, it almost become a tradition. From the fortress Kalemegdan, overlooking the confluence of the Danube and Sava Rivers , you can see the sunset very well. It’s a very historical place: here the first shots of WWI were fired (read here) and geographically seen it is here where the Balkan meets Central Europe.
Sunsets in Belgrade are anyway beautiful (read more here), but at the first day of the New Year it is always wonderful.
