It has been a while when I wrote a blog post and the reasons were : elections and moving. Elections ? Yes there were elections for the local government in the municipality where I live and I was a candidate for a local party. So a lot of things needed to be done and it was pretty time consuming.
But the result was there and I was elected! So now I am officially an elected representative for the municipal council De Bilt. I feel honored and proud. It will be time consuming, but it will be very interesting. As I studied public administration this is also a good match with my studies.
It was not only working, because there was also time for sightseeing and what is better than to show your wife the beautiful Dutch flower fields ?
