At the shores of the Baltic Sea,
where the wind, sun and clouds
have an eternal battle between themselves,
sometimes hearts gets lost as well.
On the crossroads between the North and the South,
East and West, where the waves brake into the Kieler fjord ,
once a year it seems the whole world is present during
the Kieler week in Kiel, there were Germany seems to stop.
The seagulls are flying around and just can see and hear
how the people are enjoying their time with
beautiful songs, dance, folklore and much more,
there from high above they can see it very clear.
Joyfull they fly around and see
that each of us, people, are loosing
our hearts during the Kieler week
there at the shores of the Baltic Sea.
