Last weekend I travelled again the Belgrade – Bar railway as I was invited to guide a group of wonderful people from the Belgrade Foreigners Visitors Club. On Friday we took the night train to Bar in Montenegro and on Sunday we took the day train back to Belgrade. On Saturday we were swimming in the Adriatic Sea in Ulcinj and we had a marvellous meal in Stari Bar.
28/09/2019 : Montenegrin coast between Bar and Ulcinj.
So on Sunday we went back to Belgrade by train so we could fully enjoy the marvellous scenery. We could clearly notice the change of season: in Montenegro it was still a kind of “Indian summer”, but the further we went North we could see the first autumn leaves.
Above: More images from Montenegro while climbing to 1032 meters above the sea level at Kolašin, which is the highest point of the line.
At Bijelo Polje we left Montenegro and arrived Serbia at the border station Vrbnica and you could see already much more autumn colours.
More impression of the part through Serbia, see below (click on the photo to enlarge). It was wonderful weather with a beautiful play of the sun with the clouds in a stunning scenery. It was a great trip with great people !
