Today we arrived in Mokra Gora in Western Serbia for a couple of days. The whole trip it was foggy, rainy and cloudy. When we arrived at Kustendorf, the film village which became a resort from the famous film director Emir Kusturica.
I did a small bet with my wife: I believed that the top of the mountain near Mokra Gora, at almost 1400 meters above sea level, was above the clouds and she didn’t .
My wife is always right, but this time she was not, because at about 1200 meters the clouds disappeared…

It was beautiful to see, unreal almost…. It was also sunset time, so it was real private theater of nature.
The panorama from this point is beautiful: you can see the mountains of the Durmitor National Park in Montenegro in the distance , and even an unknown mountain near Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina as far as 125 km.
A truly beautiful panorama, in the heart of the Balkans, here in Serbia: yes today I was above the clouds for real…
